Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK SPEEDOMETER FUNCTION 
    1. Check that the speedometer operates properly.
    1. NG: GO TO COMBINATION METER SYSTEM (See  MALFUNCTION IN SPEEDOMETER 
    2. OK: Go to step   2 . 
  2. CHECK DOOR LOCK FUNCTION 
    1. Check that the door lock operates normally.
    1. NG: GO TO FLOW TABLE OR (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOM TABLE  ,  DTC B1224 DOOR LOCK SWITCH CIRCUIT ON PASSENGER DOOR  ) 
    2. OK: Go to step   3 . 
  3. CHECK THAT DOOR LOCK FUNCTIONS OTHER THAN AUTOMATIC LOCK FUNCTION OPERATE PROPERLY BY VEHICLE SPEED 
    1. When all doors do not operate, proceed to A.
    2. When the drive's door does not operate, proceed to B.
    3. When the passenger's door does not operate, proceed to C.
    1. B: REPLACE MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU FRONT LH 
    2. C: REPLACE MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU FRONT RH 
    3. A: REPLACE THEFT WARNING ECU ASSY.
