Inspection Procedure

- INSPECT COURTESY LAMP SWITCH (DRIVER SIDE DOOR)
- Inspect front door courtesy lamp switch continuity.
- Check that there is continuity between terminal 1 and body ground, when switch is operated.
Standard:
ON (When shaft is pressed): No continuity
OFF (When shaft is not pressed): Continuity
- Check that there is continuity between terminal 1 and body ground, when switch is operated.
- NG: REPLACE COURTESY LAMP SWITCH
OK: Go to next step.
- Inspect front door courtesy lamp switch continuity.
- INSPECT DRIVE SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK (SIG)
- Insert the ignition key to the key cylinder.
- Measure the voltage between terminal 1C-2 of driver side junction block and body ground.
Standard:
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITIONIgnition key Specified condition Insert 10-14 V Uninsert Below 1V
- NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step.
CHECK AND REPLACE DRIVE SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK
