Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSY 
    1. Disconnect the radio and navigation assy connector R9.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard: 

      REV - BODY GROUND VOLTAGE

      Tester connection Condition Specified condition
      REV - Body ground Ignition switch is ON. Shift lever is moved to R position. 10 to 14 V
      REV - Body ground Ignition switch is ON. Shift lever is moved to any position except R. Below 1 V

    1. OK: REPLACE RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSY (SEE  RADIO RECEIVER ASSY  ) 

    NG: Go to next step. 

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSY - PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSY) 
    1. Disconnect the radio and navigation assy connector R9 and park/neutral position switch assy connector P1.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard: 

      RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSY - PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSY SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester connection Condition Specified condition
      REV - P1-1 Always Below 1 Ω
      REV - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK 

    GO TO "P0705" IN ELECTRONIC CONTROLLED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION (SEE  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART  )
