Inspection Procedure

Check position sensor.

CHECK:

Measure voltage between terminal O/P of Power Seat Control ECU and body ground with connector being connected.

OK:

TESTER CONNECTION VOLTAGE

Tester Connection	Condition	Voltage
O/P <--> body ground	Motor stopped (Check several times with the motor in a different position each time.)	0 V or 8 V voltage according to stop position.
O/P <--> body ground	with motor turning	half of 8 V voltage

OK : Proceed to next circuit inspection shown problem symptom table (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE ).
NG : GO TO NEXT STEP

Check harness and connectors between Power Seat Control ECU and position sensors (See HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE ).
1. NG : Repair or replace harness or connectors.
2. OK : Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptom table (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE ).
