July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSY 
    1. Disconnect the power window switch connector on the passenger door.
    2. Check the continuity between the terminals when the power window switch is operated.

      Standard: 

      CONTINUITY CONDITIONS REFERENCE

      Switch position Terminal No. Specified condition
      Auto-up 1 <--> 8 <--> Continuity
      Manual-up 1 <--> 8 Continuity
      Off - No continuity
      Manual-down 6 <--> 8 Continuity
      Auto-down 3 <--> 8 <--> 6 Continuity

    1. NG: REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSY 
    2. OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 
  2. CHECK DOOR CONTROL SWITCH ASSY 
    1. Disconnect the door control switch connector on the passenger door.
      1. Check the continuity of each terminal of the connector, when each switch is operated, as shown in the table.

      Standard: 

      CONTINUITY CONDITIONS REFERENCE

      Switch position Terminal No. Specified condition
      Lock 2 <--> 3 Continuity
      Off - No continuity
      Unlock 1 <--> 2 Continuity

    1. NG: REPLACE DOOR CONTROL SWITCH ASSY 
    2. OK: REPLACE MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU FRONT RH
