ACTIVE TEST
HINT:

Performing the hand-held tester ACTIVE TEST allows relay, VSV, actuator and other items to be operated without removing any parts. Performing the ACTIVE TEST early in troubleshooting is one way to shorten labor time.
1. Connect the hand-held tester (with CAN VIM) to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch ON.
3. Perform the ACTIVE TEST according to the display on the tester.
