- Connect the hand-held tester to DLC3. See Figure.
- Start the engine and push the height select switch to adjust vehicle height to "N" position.
- Turn ignition switch off and adjust the torsion bar spring so the difference between right and left in vehicle height is less than .39 inches (10 mm). To reduce the difference, adjust both sides by the same amount.
- Start the engine and push height select switch to adjust vehicle height from "N" to "LO" then back to "N" position.
- Turn the ignition switch off. Read the pressure value of front shock absorber with hand-held tester. The pressure should be 925-1067 PSI (6378-7357 kPa). The cylinder pressure read by the hand-held tester is estimated by the pump emitted pressure so the pressure is approximately 171 PSI (1179 kPa) higher than the pressure read by the (LSPV) gauge. If the value is not within specification, adjust torsion bar spring. Make sure the ignition is off. There is an approximately 28 PSI (194 kPa) change when both right and left adjusting bolts are turned one turn. The pressure rises when adjusting bolts are loosened. Normal pressure should be 953-1039 PSI (6571-7164 kPa).
- Start the engine and push the height select switch to adjust the vehicle height to the "N" position.
- Check that fluid level in the reservoir tank is within standard range. See Figure.
