Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ECM - GENERATOR ASSY) 
    1. Disconnect the G2 connector of generator assy and the E7 connector of ECM.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

      Standard: 

      TESTER SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      Tester connection Condition Specified condition
      L (G2-4) - RL (E7-21) Always Below 1 Ω
    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  2. INSPECT GENERATOR ASSY 
    1. Inspect generator assy (See  GENERATOR ASSY (3MZ-FE)  ). 
    1. NG: CHECK AND REPLACE GENERATOR ASSY 
    2. OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
