Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT TRANSPONDER KEY ECU ASSY 
    1. Disconnect the T20 ECU connector.
    2. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.
      STANDARD:

      Tester Connection Condition Specified condition
      T20-16 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connectors.
    STANDARD:

    Tester Connection Condition Specified condition
    T20-1 (+B) - T20-14 (GND) Always 10 to 14 V
    T20-2 (IG) - T20-14 (GND) Ignition switch ON 10 to 14 V

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
