4WD Control Ecu: Removal

  1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (w/o Illumination) 

    HINT:

    Use the same procedures for the RH side and the LH side (See Step 34 in REMOVAL ).

  2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (w/ Illumination) 

    HINT:

    Use the same procedures for the RH side and the LH side (See Step 35 in REMOVAL ).

  3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER RH (See Step 36 in  REMOVAL  ) 
  4. REMOVE SIDE INSTRUMENT PANEL RH (See Step 37 in  REMOVAL  ) 
  5. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (See Step 38 in  REMOVAL  ) 
  6. REMOVE 4WD CONTROL ECU 
    1. Turn back the front floor carpet assembly.
    2. Disengage the 2 clips and separate the junction connector.

    3. Remove the bolt and nut.

    4. Disconnect the clamp and connector, and remove the 4WD control ECU.
