How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

- VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP
- INSPECTION BATTERY VOLTAGE
Standard voltage: 11 to 14 V
If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.
- BASIC INSPECTION
- Turn the ignition switch ON.
- Check whether or not the radio receiver turns on.

- CHECK FOR DTC
- Check for DTCs and note any codes that are output.
- Delete the DTCs.
- Recheck for DTCs by simulating the operations indicated by the output DTCs.
HINT:
- If the system cannot enter the diagnostic mode, inspect each AVC-LAN communication signal and repair or replace the problem parts.
- Even if the malfunction symptom is not confirmed, check for DTCs. This is because the system stores past DTCs.
- Check and clear past DTCs. Then recheck for DTCs.
