Ultrasonic Sensor: Inspection

  1. INSPECT NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR 
    1. Measure the resistance of the sensor.

      Standard resistance 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 (E) - 2 (S) Always 900 +- 300 kΩ
      NOTE: Set the tester to the 100 kΩ range before performing the measurement.

  2. INSPECT NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR 
    1. Measure the resistance of the sensor.

      Standard resistance 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 (E) - 2 (S) Always 900 +- 300 kΩ
      NOTE: Set the tester to the 100 kΩ range before performing the measurement.

  3. INSPECT NO. 3 ULTRASONIC SENSOR 
    1. Measure the resistance of the sensor.

      Standard resistance: 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      Tester Connection [Tester (+) - Tester (-)] Condition Specified Condition
      3 (S) - 2 (E) Always 40 +- 10 kΩ
      2 (E) - 3 (S) Always 40 +- 10 kΩ
      1 (T) - 2 (E) (1) Always 330 +- 100 kΩ
      2 (E) - 1 (T) (1) Always 1 MΩ or higher
      NOTE:
      • Set the tester to the 100 kΩ range before performing the measurement.
      • (1) Measurement values may vary depending on the tester used. If results seem inaccurate, reverse the polarity (+-) and measure again.
