Terminals Of Ecu

  1. CHECK CERTIFICATION ECU

    1. Disconnect the U28 ECU connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.
      ECU TERMINAL REFERENCE CHART

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      +B1 (U28-1) - Body ground R - Body ground +B power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      IG (U28-18) - Body ground B - Body ground Ignition power supply Power switch OFF Below 1 V
      IG (U28-18) - Body ground B - Body ground Ignition power supply Power switch ON (IG) 10 to 14 V
      E (U28-17) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, the wire harness side may have a malfunction.

    3. Reconnect the U28 ECU connector.
    4. Measure the voltage of the connector.
      ECU TERMINAL REFERENCE CHART

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

  2. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU RH (COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK RH)

    1. Disconnect the DD, DK, DM and DN ECU connectors.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
      ECU TERMINAL REFERENCE CHART

      BECU (DK-5) - Body ground G-R - Body ground +B (ECUB) engine supply Always 10 to 14 V
      ALTB (DM-1) - Body ground B - Body ground +B (power system, generator system) power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      BATB (DN-1) - Body ground R - Body ground +B (power system, generator system) power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      GND2 (DD-7) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, the wire harness side may have a malfunction.

    3. Reconnect the DD, DK, DM and DN ECU connectors.
    4. Measure the resistance of the connector.
      ECU TERMINAL REFERENCE CHART

      TSW (K68-2) - GND2 (DD-7) BR - W-B Luggage compartment door opener cancel switch signal Luggage compartment door opener cancel switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

  3. CHECK FRONT MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU LH (DRIVER DOOR ECU)

    1. Disconnect the N3 and N4 ECU connectors.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connectors.
      ECU TERMINAL REFERENCE CHART

      GND (N3-1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      SIG (N3-3) - GND (N3-1) Y - W-B IG power supply Power switch ON (IG) 10 to 14 V

      TRG+ (N4-18) - GND (N3-1) L - W-B Lock switch signal Lock switch pushed Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, the wire harness side may have a malfunction.

    3. Reconnect the N3 and N4 connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage of the connectors.
      ECU TERMINAL REFERENCE CHART

      OSCB (N4-7) - OSCE (N4-20) SB - G Power source supply Always 10 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

  4. CHECK FRONT MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU RH (FRONT PASSENGER DOOR ECU)

    1. Disconnect the M3 and M4 ECU connectors.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connectors.
      ECU TERMINAL REFERENCE CHART

      GND (M4-1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, the wire harness side may have a malfunction.

    3. Reconnect the M3 and M4 connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage of the connectors.

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

  5. CHECK REAR MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU LH (REAR DOOR LH ECU)

    1. Disconnect the P2 and P3 ECU connectors.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connectors.
      ECU TERMINAL REFERENCE CHART

    3. Reconnect the P2 and P3 connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage of the connectors.

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

  6. CHECK REAR MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU RH (REAR DOOR RH ECU)

    1. Disconnect the O2 and O3 ECU connectors.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connectors.
      ECU TERMINAL REFERENCE CHART

      GND (O3-1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, the wire harness side may have a malfunction.

    3. Reconnect the O2 and O3 connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage of the connectors.
      ECU TERMINAL REFERENCE CHART

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

  7. CHECK NO. 1 JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY (MULTIPLEX NETWORK REAR ECU)

    1. Disconnect the LC and LF ECU connectors.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connectors.
      ECU TERMINAL REFERENCE CHART

      If the result is not as specified, the wire harness side may have a malfunction.
