Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT FUSE (ACC, ECU-B, ECU-IG) 
    1. Disconnect the ECU-B fuse from the engine room relay block.
    2. Disconnect the ECU-IG and ACC fuses from the driver side junction block.
    3. Measure the resistance of the fuses.

    Standard resistance: Below 1 Ω 

    NG: REPLACE FUSE 

    OK: Go to Next Step 

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TELEVISION CAMERA ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the T24 ECU connector.
    2. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard resistance 

      RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Specified Condition
      T24-8 (GND1) - Body ground Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.

    Standard voltage 

    VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION

    Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
    T24-1 (+B) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V
    T24-3 (IG) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V
    T24-4 (ACC) - Body ground Ignition switch ACC 11 to 14 V

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: PROCEED TO NEXT INSPECTION PROCEDURE SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  )
