Integration Relay: Inspection

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2008 Toyota Yaris. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. INSPECT INTEGRATION RELAY
    1. Inspect the AM2 (15A) fuse.
      1. Disconnect the fuse. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance of the fuse.

        Standard resistance

        INTEGRATION RELAY (AM2 (15A) fuse)

        Tester Connection Specified condition
        1-2 Below 1 ohms
    2. Inspect the IG2 relay.
      1. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.

        Standard resistance

        INTEGRATION RELAY (IG2 RELAY)

        Tester Connection Specified condition
        B1-C1 Below 1 ohms
B4-C1 Below 1 ohms (when battery voltage applied to terminals 1 and 2)
        10 k ohms or higher
