Integration Relay: Inspection

  1. INSPECT INTEGRATION RELAY 
    1. Inspect the cooling fan relay.
      1. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.

        Standard resistance 

        INTEGRATION RELAY

        Tester connection Specified condition
        B5-B8 10 k ohms or higher
        B5-B8 Below 1 ohms (Battery voltage applied between terminals B6 and B7)

        NOTE: While using the battery for the inspection, do not bring the positive and negative tester probes too close to each other as a short circuit may occur.
