Speed Sensor: Removal

  1. DRAIN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID  (See REMOVAL  )
  2. REMOVE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION OIL PAN SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL  )
  3. REMOVE VALVE BODY OIL STRAINER ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL  )
  4. REMOVE TRANSMISSION VALVE BODY ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL  )
  5. REMOVE SPEED SENSOR NT 
    1. Disconnect the sensor connector.
    2. Using a T30 "TORX" wrench, remove the bolt and speed sensor from the oil pump.
    3. Remove the O-ring from the speed sensor.

  6. REMOVE SPEED SENSOR NC3 
    1. Disconnect the sensor connector.
    2. Remove the bolt and speed sensor from the transmission case.

  7. REMOVE SPEED SENSOR SP2 
    1. Disconnect the sensor connector.
    2. Remove the bolt and speed sensor from the transmission case.
