Inspection Procedure
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (CRUISE CONTROL INDICATOR LIGHT)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Active Test.
- Check the CRUISE main indicator light by performing the Active Test.
Combination Meter:
DTC DETECTION CONDITION CHARTTester Display Test Part Control Range Diagnostic Note Indicat. Lamp Cruise Turns CRUISE main indicator light BLINK / OFF - OK:
Indicator light blinks/goes off.
NG: GO TO METER / GAUGE SYSTEM (See HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING )
OK: Go to Next Step
- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (CRUISE CONTROL INDICATOR LIGHT)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Radar Cruise / Data List.
- Check the Data List for proper functioning of the CRUISE main indicator light.
Hybrid Vehicle Control ECU (Radar Cruise):

OFF: "CRUISE" off2 OK:
When the cruise control main switch is operated, the display changes as shown above.
HINT:
1 is OK, but 2 is NG → DTC output or hybrid vehicle control ECU failure
NG: REPLACE HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU
OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )
