Inspection Procedure

HINT

After the inspection is completed, clear the DTCs

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY - TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the multi-display connector

    2. Disconnect the television camera assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below

      Standard Resistance 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      Q43-4 (CB+) - J51-13 (CA+) Always Below 1 Ω
      Q43-3 (CGND) - J51-14 (CGND) Always Below 1 Ω
      Q43-2 (CV+) - J51-27 (V+) Always Below 1 Ω
      Q43-1 (CV-) - J51-28 (V-) Always Below 1 Ω
      Q43-4 (CB+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      Q43-3 (CGND) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      Q43-2 (CV+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      Q43-1 (CV-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: Go to Next Step 

  2. INSPECT MULTI-DISPLAY 
    1. Reconnect the multi-display connector
    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below

      Standard Voltage 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      Q43-4 (CB+) - Q43-3 (CGND) Engine switch on (IG), shift lever in R 5.5 to 6.5 V

    NG: REPLACE MULTI-DISPLAY  (See REMOVAL  )

    OK: REPLACE TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
