Inspection Procedure

PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (CRUISE MAIN INDICATOR LIGHT)

Select the Active Test, use the Techstream to generate a control command, and then check that the CRUISE main indicator light illuminates.

NG: GO TO METER/GAUGE SYSTEM (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )

OK: Go to next step

READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (CRUISE MAIN INDICATOR LIGHT)

Check the Data List for proper functioning of the CRUISE main indicator light.

When cruise control main switch operation is performed, the result will be the same as above.

NG: REPLACE ECM (See REMOVAL )

OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )
