Pressure Switch: Replacement

  1. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER 
    1. Remove the front bumper cover (see REMOVAL ).
  2. REMOVE PRESSURE SWITCH 
    1. Disconnect the connector
    2. Remove the switch.
    3. Remove the O-ring from the pressure switch.
      NOTE: Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering them.

  3. INSTALL PRESSURE SWITCH 
    1. Sufficiently apply compressor oil to a new O-ring and the fitting surface of the pressure switch

      Compressor oil: ND-OIL 8 or equivalent 

    2. Install the O-ring on the pressure switch
    3. Install the switch.

      Torque: 10.8 N*m (110 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf) 

    4. Connect the connector

  4. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER COVER 
    1. Install the front bumper cover (See INSTALLATION )
