Console Box Light: Inspection

  1. INSPECT CONSOLE BOX LIGHT 
    1. Inspect the console box light RH.
      1. Apply battery voltage to the terminals of the connector, and check the LED illumination condition.

        OK 

        MEASUREMENT CONDITION SPECIFIED CONDITION REFERENCE CHART

        Measurement Condition Specified Condition
        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 10 (RRMP)
        Battery positive (-) → Terminal 3 (RGND)
        Light illuminates

    2. Inspect the console box light LH.
      1. Apply battery voltage to the terminals of the connector, and check the LED illumination condition

        OK 

        TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION REFERENCE CHART

        Measurement Condition Specified Condition
        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2 (RLMP)
        Battery positive (-) → Terminal 3 (RGND)
        Light illuminates

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      MEASUREMENT CONDITION SPECIFIED CONDITION REFERENCE CHART

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      5 (RRSW) - 3 (RGND) Switch on both sides OFF 10 kΩ or higher
      4 (RLSW) - 3 (RGND) Switch on both sides OFF 10 kΩ or higher
      5 (RRSW) - 3 (RGND) Rear right side switch ON Below 1 Ω
      4 (RLSW) - 3 (RGND) Rear left side switch ON Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the console box light.
