Speed Sensor: Inspection: Inspection

  1. INSPECT TRANSMISSION REVOLUTION SENSOR (NT SENSOR) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 2 20°C (68°F) 560 to 680 Ω
      TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION

      *1 Component without harness connected
      (Transmission Revolution Sensor)

      If the resistance value is not as specified, replace the speed sensor.

  2. INSPECT TRANSMISSION REVOLUTION SENSOR (SP2 SENSOR) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 2 20°C (68°F) 560 to 680 Ω
      TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION

      *1 Component without harness connected

      If the resistance value is not as specified, replace the speed sensor.
