Frame Wire: Installation: Installation

  1. INSTALL FRAME WIRE 
    1. Install the frame wire to the vehicle with 5 new clips.

    2. Pass the frame wire to the cabin and install the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf) 

    3. Pass the frame wire into the cabin and secure the grommet.

    4. Install the 3 nuts and 2 bolts.

      Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf) 

    5. Install the 4 nuts and bolt.

      Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf)

    6. Install the 3 nuts and bolt.

      Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf) 

    7. Install the 2 bolts and clamp.

      Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf)

    8. Engage the 2 claws, and connect the frame wire to the No. 1 engine room junction block.

    9. Secure the frame wire to the engine room No. 1 junction block with the 2 nuts.

      Torque: 13 N*m (130 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf) 

  2. INSTALL WIRE HARNESS PROTECTOR 
    1. Install the 3 nuts, new clip and wire harness protector.

      Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf)

    2. Install the 4 nuts, 2 clamps and wire harness protector.

      Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf)

  3. CONNECT INVERTER WITH CONVERTER ASSEMBLY 
    WARNING:

    Wear insulating gloves.

    1. Connect the frame wire to the inverter with converter assembly with the bolt.

      Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf) 

  4. CONNECT HV BATTERY 
    WARNING:

    Wear insulated gloves.

    1. Attach the claw and connect the frame wire to the luggage terminal.

    2. Connect the frame wire with the 2 nuts.

      Torque: 13 N*m (127 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf) 

    3. Connect the connector and attach the 3 clamps.

    4. Install the No. 15 wiring harness protector with the 2 nuts and attach the claw.

      Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf)

    5. Install the battery shield contact as shown in the illustration.
      NOTE:

      Be sure to install the battery shield contact in the correct direction.

    6. Connect the frame wire to the HV battery with the 2 nuts.

      Torque: 9.0 N*m (92 kgf*cm, 80 in.*lbf) 

      NOTE:

      Be sure to align the red mark on the frame wire with the red part of the terminal block.

  5. INSTALL SPARE WHEEL GUARD SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 28
  6. INSTALL NO. 2 HV BATTERY SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 34
  7. INSTALL NO. 1 CENTER FLOOR TO BRACE EXTENSION  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 38
  8. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY RH  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 4
  9. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY LH  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 5
  10. INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 6
  11. INSTALL FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 9
  12. INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 11
  13. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD RH  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 12
  14. INSTALL ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 13
  15. INSTALL ROPE HOOK  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 14
  16. INSTALL NO. 1 COOLER COVER (w/ Rear Air Conditioning System)  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 17
  17. INSTALL REAR SUSPENSION MEMBER SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Refer to INSTALLATION and install the rear suspension member sub-assembly.
  18. INSTALL FUEL TANK ASSEMBLY 
    1. Refer to INSTALLATION and install the fuel tank assembly.
  19. INSTALL ENGINE ASSEMBLY WITH TRANSMISSION 
    1. Refer to INSTALLATION and install the engine assembly with transmission.
  20. INSTALL REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat) 
    1. Refer to INSTALLATION and install the rear seat assembly.
  21. INSTALL REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Ottoman) 
    1. Refer to INSTALLATION and install the rear seat assembly.
  22. INSTALL REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Fixed Seat Type) 
    1. Refer to INSTALLATION and install the rear seat assembly.
  23. INSTALL SERVICE PLUG GRIP 
    1. Refer to INSTALLATION and install the service plug grip.
