Fuel Relief Valve: Installation: Installation

  1. INSTALL FUEL RELIEF VALVE ASSEMBLY

    1. Install a new gasket to the fuel relief valve assembly.
    2. Using a union nut wrench (17 mm), install the fuel relief valve assembly to the No. 2 fuel delivery pipe.

      Torque: 40 N*m (408 kgf*cm, 29 ft.*lbf) 

      NOTE:
      • Do not apply oil to the threads of the fuel relief valve assembly and No. 2 fuel delivery pipe.
      • Do not allow foreign matter to enter the pipe during installation.
      • Use the torque value compensation formula to calculate the torque value for use when a torque wrench is combined with a tool such as a union nut wrench. Refer to PRECAUTION .
  2. INSTALL NO. 1 FUEL PIPE  See step  9
  3. INSTALL INTAKE MANIFOLD 

    Refer to INSTALLATION 

  4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  5. INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK  . Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION - Step 1
