Installation [10/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL OIL LEVEL SENSOR BRACKET 
    1. Install the engine oil level sensor bracket.
  2. INSTALL ENGINE OIL LEVEL SENSOR 
    1. Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring of theengine oil level sensor.
    2. Install a new clip to the engine oil level sensor as shown in the illustration.

      *A for 2WD
      *B for AWD
    3. Install the engine oil level sensor with the 2 nuts.

      Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf) 

  3. INSTALL OIL WITH STRAINER PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY (for AWD)

  4. INSTALL NO. 2 OIL PAN SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. ADD ENGINE OIL 

    See step  5

  6. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK 

    See step  6

  7. INSPECT ENGINE OIL LEVEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  8. INSTALL FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER BRACE (for 2WD) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 111

  9. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 115
