DTC U0300-51: Internal Control Module Software Incompatibility Not Programmed [08/2019 - ]: Procedure

1. Check for DTCs of hybrid control system.

   Powertrain > Hybrid Control > Trouble Codes

GO TO HYBRID CONTROL SYSTEM. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2015 - ]

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the power switch on (IG)
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: System Select / Health Check.
5. Check for DTCs.
6. Turn the power switch off.

   OK

   DTCs indicating a vehicle information mismatch with that of the hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly are not output by any ECU other than the forward recognition camera.

   Result

REPLACE HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [08/2019 - ]

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the power switch on (IG)
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Front Recognition Camera / Data List.
5. Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.

   HINT: 

   • If the vehicle information stored in the forward recognition camera is different from the actual vehicle specifications, the vehicle information stored in the forward recognition camera may be incorrect. Replace the forward recognition camera.
   • If the vehicle information stored in the forward recognition camera matches the actual vehicle specifications, the installed hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly is incompatible. Replace the hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly.
