Installation [01/2017 - 05/2023]: Procedure
- INSTALL ACCELERATION SENSOR
- for LH side:
- Install the acceleration sensor with the 2 nuts.
Torque: 5.5 N.m (56 kgf/cm, 49 in.lbf)
NOTE:- Avoid any impact to the acceleration sensor.
- Do not drop the acceleration sensor. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.
- Connect the connector.
- Return the floor carpet to its original position.
- Install the acceleration sensor with the 2 nuts.
- for RH side:
- Install the acceleration sensor with the 2 nuts.
Torque: 5.5 N.m (56 kgf/cm, 49 in.lbf)
NOTE:- Avoid any impact to the acceleration sensor.
- Do not drop the acceleration sensor. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.
- Connect the connector.
- Return the floor carpet to its original position.
- Install the acceleration sensor with the 2 nuts.
- for LH side:
- INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH

- INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER RH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 34 [01/2017 - 06/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 34 [06/2019 - 04/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 34 [04/2020 - 05/2023]
- INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 35 [01/2017 - 06/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 35 [06/2019 - 04/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 35 [04/2020 - 05/2023]
- INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 36 [01/2017 - 06/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 36 [06/2019 - 04/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 36 [04/2020 - 05/2023]
- CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTE:- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

- After replacing the absorber control ECU, it is necessary to perform registration of vehicle identification information. Vehicle identification information is automatically acquired when the system enters test mode.

- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
