DTC U0103-87: Lost Communication with Gear Shift Control Module "A" Missing Message; DTC U0131-87: Lost Communication with Power Steering Control Module Missing Message; DTC U1106-87: Lost Communication with Electric Parking Brake Module Missing Message [10/2023 - ]: Procedure

1. Using the Techstream, check for DTCs according to the prompts on the screen.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2020 - ]

   HINT: 

   After turning the power switch from off to on (IG), wait 10 seconds or more before checking for DTCs.

   Body Electrical > Clearance Warning > Trouble Codes 

2. Clear the DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2020 - ]

   Body Electrical > Clearance Warning > Clear DTCs 

3. Recheck for DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2020 - ]

   Body Electrical > Clearance Warning > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   No DTCs are output.

   HINT: 

   • If CAN communication system DTCs are stored, they may also be stored in other systems.
   • If the CAN communication system has been inspected and repaired in other systems, the DTCs will not be output when rechecking for DTCs.
   • If these DTCs are output frequently, duplicate the conditions that caused the problem symptoms and perform the inspection again, even though DTCs were not output when rechecking for DTCs.
