Compression Check: Specifications

AllData Editors Note - Ford does not provide a cranking pressure specification, only an acceptable range.

When checking cylinder compression, the lowest cylinder pressure reading must be at least 75% of the highest cylinder's pressure reading. Perform compression test with engine at normal operating temperature, spark plugs removed, and throttle wide open.
