Control Module HVAC: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
The Electronic Automatic Temperature Control (EATC) Module incorporates a microcomputer that controls and monitors in-vehicle temperature.

OPERATION
This module receives input signals from sensors and controls door and actuator positions, blower motor operation and power feed for A/C clutch operation. It provides signal to the powertrain control module to control compressor operation.
