Pinpoint Test B - Forward/Rearward Function Does Not Work Properly

  1. Unplug seat motor connector. Using fused jumper wires, connect motor terminal No. 6 (Red/White wire) to battery voltage. Momentarily connect motor terminal No. 5 (Yellow/White wire) to ground. Seat should operate smoothly. Transpose jumper wires at connector. Seat should operate smoothly in opposite direction. Replace motor if operation is not as specified.
  2. Unplug seat switch connector. Using fused jumper wires, supply battery voltage to switch harness connector pin No. 10 (Red/White wire). Momentarily connect pin No. 11 (Yellow/White wire) to ground. Seat should move smoothly. Transpose jumper wires at connector. Seat should move smoothly in opposite direction. Repair appropriate wire if operation is not as specified. If seat moves as specified, test power seat switch. See SWITCH TEST  under COMPONENT TESTING.
