Pinpoint Test C - Up/Down Tilting Function Does Not Work Properly

  1. Unplug seat motor connector. Using fused jumper wires, connect motor terminal No. 2 (Yellow/Light Blue wire) to battery voltage. Momentarily connect motor terminal No. 4 (Red/Light Blue wire) to ground. Seat should operate smoothly. Transpose jumper wires at connector. Seat should operate smoothly in opposite direction. Replace motor if operation is not as specified.
  2. Reconnect wiring to motor. Unplug switch connector. Using fused jumper wires, apply battery voltage to harness connector pin No. 12 (Red/Light Blue wire). Momentarily connect terminal No. 6 (Yellow/Light Blue wire) to ground. Seat should move smoothly. Transpose jumper wires at connector. Seat should move smoothly in opposite direction. If seat moves as specified, test power seat switch. See SWITCH TEST  under COMPONENT TESTING. Repair appropriate wire if operation is not as specified.
