- Verify condition exists. Bleed brake system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM
. If vehicle still does not track properly, go to next step.NOTE: DO NOT leave ignition on more than one minute for this test.
- Turn ignition off. Turn off air suspension (if equipped). Disconnect ABS control module 55-pin connector. See COMPONENT LOCATIONS . Connect Breakout Box (014-00322) and ABS Adapter (T90P-50-ALA). Raise and support vehicle. Ensure wheels spin freely. Connect jumper wire between breakout box test pins No. 19 and 34. Connect another jumper wire between breakout box test pins No. 2, 20 and 60. Apply moderate pressure to brake pedal. Ensure left front wheel does not rotate. Turn ignition on. Ensure left front wheel rotates freely with ignition on (brake pedal still applied). If wheel rotates freely, turn ignition off. Disconnect jumper wires, and go to next step. If wheel does not rotate freely or if brake pedal drops, ensure wiring and connectors are okay. Repair wiring and connectors if necessary. If wiring and connectors are okay, replace valve body. See HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT (HCU) under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
- Connect jumper wire between breakout box test pins No. 19 and 34. Connect another jumper wire between breakout box test pins No. 21, 38 and 60. Apply moderate pressure to brake pedal. Ensure right front wheel does not rotate. Turn ignition on. Ensure right front wheel rotates freely with ignition on (brake pedal still applied).
