NOTE: After any repairs are complete, ensure all components are properly installed, all harness connectors are connected properly and repeat data link diagnostic test.
  1. Check Fuse No. 39  - Check fuse No. 39 (10-amp) in instrument panel fuse box. If fuse is okay, go to next step. If fuse is blown, perform TEST A: NO COMMUNICATION WITH DRIVER DOOR MODULE  .
  2. Check Voltage To Fuse No. 39  - Measure voltage at input cavity of fuse No. 39 at instrument panel fuse box. If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, perform TEST A: NO COMMUNICATION WITH DRIVER DOOR MODULE  .
  3. Check Voltage At Driver Seat Module (DSM)  - Install fuse No. 39. Disconnect DSM harness connector C342. Measure voltage at terminal No. 14 (Black/White wire) at DSM harness connector C342. If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, repair open in Black/White wire.
  4. Check Black/Light Green Wire For Open  - Measure resistance between ground and terminal No. 1 (Black/Light Green wire) at DSM harness connector C342. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, diagnosis network concern. See MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK article. If resistance is 5 ohms or greater, repair open in Black/Light Green wire.
