For Component Replacement

Record pre-set radio frequencies for reprogramming (if equipped). Disconnect negative battery cable. Also, disconnect any auxiliary batteries and power supplies (if equipped). Wait at least one minute for back-up power supply to deplete stored energy.

NOTE: Used the following procedure when diagnosing side air bag or seat belt pretensioner faults or when repairing any in-seat component.
