Disassembly And Assembly Of Subassemblies: Piston

  1. Remove the components in the order indicated in the following illustration.
  2. To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.

Items 9 and 10: Piston and Connecting Rod Assembly Note 

    NOTE: Connecting rod must be installed into the piston with identification markings toward the front.

  1. Position the connecting rod in the piston.
