Cooling Module: Installation

- Position the cooling module in the vehicle.
- Install the 6 cooling module bolts.
- Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
- Connect the ambient temperature sensor electrical connector.
- Connect the horn assembly electrical connector.
- Using new O-ring seals and gaskets, connect the A/C condenser outlet and inlet fittings and install the nut and bolt.
- Tighten to 15 Nm (133 lb-in).
- Connect the transmission fluid cooler tubes and install the 2 secondary latches.
- Position the air deflector and install the pushpin.
- Position the hood latch assembly and install the 2 hood latch assembly bolts.
- Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
- Connect the 2 hood latch cable position retainers.
- Connect the lower radiator hose to the radiator and install the spring clip.
- Position the wiring harness, the BJB and the power steering fluid reservoir. Attach the BJB to the bracket.
- Install the power steering fluid reservoir stud bolt.
- Tighten to 11 Nm (97 lb-in).
- Attach the wiring harness retainer to the power steering fluid reservoir stud bolt.
- Attach the power steering fluid cooler hose to the LH side of the cooling fan motor and shroud.
- Attach the wiring harness retainer to the LH side of the cooing fan motor and shroud.
- Attach the 3 cooling fan wiring harness retainers to the cooling fan and connect the 2 cooling fan electrical connectors.
- Attach the 3 wiring harness retainers to the RH side of the cooling fan motor and shroud.
- Attach the wiring harness retainer and the electrical connector retainer to the top RH side of the cooling fan motor and shroud.
- Attach the wiring harness retainer to the top RH side of the radiator.
- Connect the upper radiator hose to the radiator and position the clamp. Attach the upper radiator hose retainer to the cooling fan motor and shroud.
- Connect the battery power cable terminal and install the nut. Close the BJB cover.
- Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
- Connect the 2 power steering fluid cooler hoses to the condenser core and position the clamps.
- Install the front bumper cover. For additional information, refer to BUMPERS .
- Install the RH and LH headlamp assemblies. For additional information, refer to EXTERIOR LIGHTING .
- Connect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
- Fill and bleed the engine cooling system. For additional information, refer to COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, FILLING AND BLEEDING .
- Fill and bleed the power steering system. For additional information, refer to STEERING SYSTEM .
- Fill the transmission with fluid and verify correct operation. For additional information, refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE/TRANSMISSION - 6R80 .
- Evacuate, leak test and charge the refrigerant system. For additional information, refer CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION AND DIAGNOSTICS .
