DTC P0C2F (Pcm): Internal Control Module Drive Motor/Generator-Engine Speed Sensor Performance

DTC P0C2F (PCM): INTERNAL CONTROL MODULE DRIVE MOTOR/GENERATOR-ENGINE SPEED SENSOR PERFORMANCE

Description:  This DTC sets when a concern is detected with the motor or generator resolvers, motor speed and generator or wheel speed sensors. It will also set if a mechanical concern is detected with the planetary gear in the transmission assembly.
Possible Causes: 
  • Generator speed correlation concerns
  • Engine speed correlation concerns
  • Vehicle speed correlation concerns
  • Motor correlation concerns
  • Motor position correlation concerns
  • Generator position correlation concerns
Diagnostic Aids:  This DTC may be accompanied by other DTCs. Diagnose other DTCs first. When this DTC sets, the powertrain malfunction indicator (wrench) will illuminate and the vehicle will go into Limited Operation Strategy (LOS) supercreep mode. Refer to ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL (ETC) SYSTEM STRATEGY for additional information on the LOS supercreep mode.
