Removal and Installation

  1. NOTE: Module configuration is required when a new Front Control/Display Interface Module (FCDIM) is being installed.

    Upload the FCDIM  configuration information to the scan tool. For additional information, refer to MODULE CONFIGURATION to carry out Programmable Module Installation (PMI).

  2. Remove the Front Controls Interface Module (FCIM) refer to FRONT CONTROLS INTERFACE MODULE (FCIM) .
  3. Remove the 4 screws and remove the FCDIM  .
    • Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • Download the configuration information to the FCDIM  . For additional information, refer to MODULE CONFIGURATION to carry out PMI.
