Powertrain Control Module (PCM) - 2.0L GTDI: Removal

  1. Retrieve the module configuration. Carry out the module configuration retrieval steps of the Programmable Module Installation (PMI) procedure. For additional information, REFER to MODULE CONFIGURATION .
  2. Disconnect the 2 PCM electrical connectors.
    • Detach the wiring harness retainer from the cowl.

  3. Remove the 2 nuts and the PCM and bracket assembly.

  4. Remove the 3 bolts and remove the PCM from the bracket.
