DTC U0557: Invalid Data Received From Front Controls Interface Module "A"

Action
This DTC sets if the auto hold switch status message from the FCIM contains "invalid" or "faulted" instead of the actual switch state. Using a diagnostic scan tool, RETRIEVE and DIAGNOSE all FCIM DTCs. REFER to Diagnosis and Testing in the appropriate Information and Entertainment System article. If no FCIM DTCs are present, the DTC may be caused by an intermittent concern. SET the ignition to OFF. DISCONNECT and INSPECT all FCIM electrical connectors and related in-line connectors for corrosion, bent pins, pushed-out pins and spread terminals. REPAIR as necessary.
