Powertrain Drivetrain Mount Neutralizing

Adjustment 

  1. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
  2. Refer to: Battery Tray .
  3. Loosen, but do not remove, the 2 engine mount bolts.

  4. Loosen, but do not remove the 2 roll restrictor bolts. Verify that the roll restrictor is loose.

  5. NOTE: Do not twist or strain the powertrain/drivetrain mounts or damage to the mounts may occur.

    Center the engine and transmission mounts to the center of the slots in the mount brackets.

  6. Torque: 59 lb.ft (80 Nm)

  7. Torque: 35 lb.ft (48 Nm)

  8. NOTE: Rock the powertrain/drivetrain assembly forward and rearward to ensure the roll restrictor is not bound.

    Torque: 92 lb.ft (125 Nm)

  10. Test the system for normal operation.
