DTC U210A: Temperature Sensor: Action

This DTC sets due to an internal short to ground or short to voltage which causes an over-temperature condition in the clockspring tape circuits. CARRY OUT the SASM Module Reset routine. CYCLE the ignition from ON to OFF and back to ON. CLEAR the DTC and then CARRY OUT the SASM self-test. If the DTC returns, INSTALL a new SASM - clockspring assembly. REFER to the appropriate Removal and Installation procedure in the Supplemental Restraint System article.
