DTC U0416: Invalid Data Received From Vehicle Dynamics Control Module: Action

This DTC sets if the vehicle dynamics message sent from the VDM to the SASM indicates more than 1 drive mode is selected. RETRIEVE and DIAGNOSE all VDM and GWM DTCs. REFER to the Diagnosis and Testing in Vehicle Dynamic Suspension for the VDM and Module Communications Network for the GWM. If there are no DTCs in either module, the DTC may be caused by an intermittent concern. SET the ignition to OFF. DISCONNECT and INSPECT all VDM and GWM electrical connectors for corrosion, bent pins, pushed-out pins and spread terminals. REPAIR as necessary.
