Modified Servo Diaphragm Field Installation Procedures
PARTS INFORMATIONModified Servo Diaphragm: 8325-13-950A
STEP 1 Inspecting for previously installed modified Servo Diaphragm.
Black Dot On Servo Diaphragm:
1) Look for black dot on Servo Diaphragm.
If black dot is present a modified Servo Diaphragm has already been installed.
If a black dot is not present proceed with the installation.
Servo Diaphragm:
STEP 2 Install the modified Servo Diaphragm.
1) Remove the old Servo Diaphragm and replace it with the modified one.
2) Once the modified Servo Diaphragm has been installed adjust the Servo Diaphragm.
a. Disconnect the Br connector from the solenoid on the firewall.
b. Engine speed should increase to 1100-1300 rpm. If the proper reading is not obtained, adjust the throttle positioner.
Note: 1300 rpm is recommended.
