Actuator Test

Using an ohmmeter, check continuity and resistance as specified. See Figure . If resistance or continuity is not as specified, actuator must be replaced. On models where voltage testing is provided, connect battery voltage and ground to actuator terminals as specified. If control cable does not operate as specified, replace actuator. When no voltage is present at actuator, control cable should be released. Replace actuator if not to specification.
