Fuel Control

The Electronic Gasoline Injection (EGI) system is an airflow controlled, dual-injector, feedback system, which monitors the CO content of the exhaust gases and adjusts the injector "ON" time accordingly. The system meters precisely the amount of fuel injected into each chamber.

ECU uses input information supplied by various sensors to determine fuel output. After receiving input information, ECU determines correct fuel pressure at injectors by sending a signal to pressure regulator control solenoid valve. The ECU controls fuel delivery volume by timing duration of injector "ON" time.
