Barometric Pressure Sensor: Testing and Inspection


Atmospheric Pressure Sensor Inspection:





1. Connect a voltmeter to atmospheric pressure sensor terminal wire "L."
2. Turn ignition switch "ON" and take a voltage reading. At sea level, voltage should be 3.5-4.5 volts. At high altitude (2000 meters, 6500 feet), voltage should be 2.5-3.5 volts.
3. If not as specified, replace sensor.
