System Testing
- If vehicle speed cannot be set or controlled, check for fault codes. See RETRIEVING FAULT CODES . Initiate inspection mode (inspection codes). See INITIATING INSPECTION MODE .
- If no fault codes are set and all inspection codes are okay, check components in the following order: main switch, cruise control unit, cruise brake switch, brakelight switch, clutch switch (M/T), cruise control switch, actuator and vehicle speed sensor. Refer to COMPONENT TESTING .
